The Ideal Candidate will be an Electrical artisan with a minimum of 5 years post trade test experience and  extensive Control circuit and some instrumentation experience.  The candidate’s CV will highlight these experiences and show job stability with increased responsibility.

Maintenance needs to be the life force behind our plant and equipment’s’ specific physical existence with the aim of giving it renewal and sustainability, whether from wear and tear or damage.

We will measure our effectiveness using plant availability.

Critical Success Factors.

1. Know and understand the plant and equipment design and technical specifications and standards.
2. Need to understand and manage the spare components/parts supply chain.
3. Measure and report.
4. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
5. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
6. Ensure that calibration of cement & trolley scales happens on a weekly basis.

Skills

·         N6 certificate minimum.

·         Red seal trade test certificate from a reputable, recognised training centre.

·         Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

·         Design — Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

·         Physics — Knowledge and prediction of physical principals, laws, their interrelationships, and applications to understanding fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics, and mechanical structures and processes.
