Be Relevant Placements

Pollinating your future

Picture

In various disciplines of sport, the Playmaker performs a critical role in the team. They control the flow of the team’s offensive play and orchestrate the moves of the attacking outfit. The Playmaker has the vision to see a scoring opportunity, however, their role is not to score as many points as possible, but rather to create the conditions for other specialised players to score for the team.

The Playmaker carries a global view of the playing field and understand that it is not the always the individual brilliance that scores points, but rather the combined effort of the team.

The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) is the playmaker of the department who synchronises prospecting efforts and identifies opportunities to ensure the long-term relevance of the business.

The BDC is the core of our prospecting efforts and maintains a broad perspective on the market. They approach the market with basket of concepts, with the intention of “planting the seed of value.” The upstream flow of their approach is seen as preparation for other specialised resources to carry the opportunity forward with the goal of “creating the perception of value.”

The BDC must endeavour to connect with current and prospective key role players regularly, reliably, objectively, openly, and with interest, without losing their sound judgment of what is right or wrong.
