Job Specification

A leading manufacturer of high-quality concrete paving products, is looking for a professional, organised, and people-focused Sales & Front Office Representative to join their team in Wellington.

This role combines front shop / office-based sales with occasional external sales and client visits, including delivering samples and meeting customers on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Front office & showroom sales

Assisting walk-in customers and handling phone/email enquiries

Preparing quotes and following up on sales leads

Occasional external sales, client visits, and sample deliveries

Basic administrative duties and sales record management

Maintaining a professional and welcoming front shop environment

Minimum Requirements:

Presentable, professional, and well-spoken

Strong people skills and customer-focused attitude

Valid South African driver’s license (non-negotiable)

Good computer skills (email, spreadsheets, sales systems)

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with office software tools

Attention to detail and organizational skills to effectively manage administrative tasks

Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role is preferred

Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative attitude

High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or training in office management is a plus

Preferred (Advantageous):

Previous sales experience (retail, construction, or building materials)

Experience dealing with contractors, architects, or homeowners

Afrikaans & English proficiency
